The material composition of Hastelloy C2000 Plates:
For manufacturing, we used Alloy C2000 grades for plates. This alloy is unique in the versatile nickel, chromium, and molybdenum materials. Also, these plates have a deliberate copper addition. To reduce the precipitation of the second phase in the heat-affected welding zones of Hastelloy H-N Plates, it is mandatory to have a high inter-pass temperature up to 93 Degree C is preferred.
The use of extra copper helps the Hastelloy C59 Plates to have enhanced resistivity against sulfuric acid. The Chromium content of this alloy also provides more excellent resistance to oxidizing chemicals. The Nickel content offers the sheets to have higher ductility and formability. The Hastelloy C59 Plates also comes with exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing solutions.
