What are Incoloy 800H / 800HT coils?
Incoloy 800H/800HT alloy is made of copper, manganese, nickel, silicon, chromium, carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, titanium, and aluminum. In this alloy, the solid solution of nickel, chromium, and iron alloys with modest additions of aluminum and titanium increases corrosion and oxidation resistance. They’re employed in high-temperature applications where oxidation and carburization resistance is essential. The coils made from this alloy have excellent resistance to stress rupture and creep. Both chloride stress corrosion cracking and intergranular corrosion generated by sensitization are rare in Incoloy 800H/800H coils.
