What is Nimonic 80A?
Nimonic 80A is an alloy of Nickel and Chromium in an 80/20 ratio. Aluminum and titanium improve the alloy’s strength, and carbon, iron, copper, silicon, and manganese are present in trace amounts. At temperatures as high as 815°C (1500°F), this alloy has high tensile and creep-rupture properties.

Attributes of Nimonic 75 wire:
These wires have excellent corrosive properties. Cold working is used to harden it. It is easily weldable and fabricated. Because of its elasticity and flexibility, it is susceptible to cold deformation. High strength is caused by rapid strain hardening. Then it is simple to make a large reduction without cracking. Nimonic wires are extremely resistant to corrosion and heat. Wires show good mechanical properties that allow them to withstand a wide range of temperatures and pressures. The tensile and yield strength of this wire are both high. One of the characteristics of the Nimonic 80A Wire is its thermal and electrical conductivity. It is resistant to oxidation. It is very machine-able in terms of fabrication. Welding is accomplished using a variety of traditional techniques.
